John McCain has an interactive part of his website that allows his supporters — and others — to make signs. Here’s one result:

While the individuals involved in voter registration fraud need to be prosecuted as per the law, this is turning out to be a non-issue. The reports from Indiana and the FBI will certainly be interesting.

Arrests for voter registration fraud connected to Democrats: 0

Arrests for voter fraud (overall): 0
Most people have rejected this ACORN, Ayers, and Wright nonsense as irrelevant. The only people who care are the McCain campaign, Faux News, and talk radio.

McCain insists anger isn’t directed at Obama? After his campaign deliberately uses Barack Hussein Obama in speeches, and his supporters spout rabidly paranoid invective about blood lines, Arabs, and terrorists? After all the negative advertising? Who’s he kidding?
And what’s this about turning Washington upside down? He’s had 26 years. What makes you think that he would do it in the next 4? I think Washington, and specifically this campaign, has turned him upside down.

via Daily Kos: 100 Percent Negative
It seems McCain has pulled out of the race, at least mentally. While his campaign airs 100% negative ads calling Obama “dishonorable,” “dangerous,” and “risky,” he tells his audiences (correctly) that Obama is deserving of respect and that people shouldn’t be scared of a Obama presidency.
His message is incongruent. So here’s my crazy proposition to McCain:
Can he make this election close? Gosh darnit, you betcha! If he does the above and makes it real.

via MyDD :: McCain Defends Obama At Campaign Event
McCain does the right thing at this event, and gets booed for it. Good on McCain for an act of courage and doing the right thing, and I hope that he sees what his campaign has done.
