Lots of talk about flow

It seems like people are getting into the flow of flow:

I’ve read both “Finding Flow”:http://www.randomjohn.info/wordpress/2005/02/07/finding-flow-by-mihaly-csikszentmihalyi/ and “Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience”:http://www.randomjohn.info/wordpress/2004/11/27/flow-the-psychology-of-optimal-experience/. I also describe a “negative experience with flow”:http://www.randomjohn.info/wordpress/2005/01/19/getting-high-legally-high-tech-meditation-etc/ that I had some time back. But all in all, I love being able to get into that state where things just fall into place because, well, I can just make them.

  1. And here I’ve been thinking my problem is lack of focus, when it is actually lack of flow. Seldom do I read some pop psychology stuff and immediately say “Oh shit, that’s it!”

So glad I happened by today.

  2. Glad to be of service!
